FEATURED ADD-ON: AmeriGlide Folding Rail

Did you know that we offer a folding rail option for our stair lifts? It’s the perfect addition to add to a stair lift if there is an obstruction at the end of a stairway. 

Our folding rail automatically folds upward once the moving stair lift activates a lever located on the rail and will lower back down once activated again. Unlike our competitors, our folding rail is not electric, so in the event of a power outage you can rest easy knowing both your stair lift and automatic folding rail will still work.

Why would I need to add a folding rail for my stair lift?

• the standard extended stair lift rail could pose as a tripping hazard to other family members or anyone living or visiting the home such as a caregiver, home health aid or friends.
• If your staircase is located next to a doorway or other obstruction and the standard rail will be in the way.
