Sometimes called a porch lift, wheelchair lift, or a deck lift, platform lifts are used to give people access to a higher level of most types of buildings. Incline platform lifts are typically installed on stair cases to allow people with mobility issues to safely go up a level without climbing the stairs. Vertical platform lifts are similar to elevators without having to build a complete lifting shaft. For that reason, this product is one of the most affordable and offers complete mobility. Whether you are in a wheelchair or having issues going up the stairs, platform lifts are a great option for inside and outside of your home.

AmeriGlide Platform Lifts' lifting capacity varies depending on each individual product. Our Incline Platform Lifts can lift weight up to 550 lb. and our Vertical Platform Lifts can handle weight capacities from 750-800 lb.

AmeriGlide offers highly competitive warranties on all of the Platform Lifts we sell. For specific details of a product's warranty, please click the "Warranty Information" badge under "Add to Cart" on the product page. Warranty Information Badge Sample

Platform Lifts are great for people in wheelchairs or other mobility devices to safely go between floors of a building. They are also able to accomodate a small group of people at one time (within their weight capacity).

An Incline Platform Lift operates much like a Stair Lift, except wheelchair users can pull right onto the platform to safely go up the stairs without needing to exit their wheelchair or mobility aid. Vertical Platform Lifts work much like elevators, but they don't require a shaft to be built and usually are much more cost effective.
