The AmeriGlide AC Cargo Lift is a great addition to any storage room, warehouse, manufacturing plant, or other commercial building. This strong and sturdy cargo lift is designed to be installed on an existing staircase and is rated for transporting 350 pound loads. You can customize the track length to fit your staircase and enjoy the security of limit switches that will automatically stop the lift when it reaches the top or bottom of the stairs. This model runs off of a 115 VAC household current, so all you have to do is plug it into an existing electrical outlet. No major renovations required. When not in use, the space saving platform folds up and out of the way.

A Little About Myself

Retired

Pros

Moves cartons and tubs from main level to the basement with ease. No more lifting heavy stuff up the stairs, especially before and after Christmas for tree and decoration set up. Came with the chair also, so after the holidays I will swap the cargo platform out for the chair.

Cons

After the holidays my contractor is going to remove the cargo platform for me and put the chair back on it. You have a U base with 2 extension plates that go on top, 1 on both sides and they go under the cargo platform itsself that then attaches to the bottom unit with the motor with four long bolts and washers. Getting the several pieces all lined up isn't the easiest so my contractor suggested putting then all together as one assembly. My contractor is going to permanently fix them together

Service & Delivery

DC was very easy to work with and DC my sales person talked me into doing my own measurements to save me money and supplied the YouTube video links to watch for that procedure and the installation itself.
Plastic chain came apart and got twisted up under the cargo lift after a few ups and downs. Called tech support and they sent me replacement chain links for the repair. It took about 30 - 40 minutes for me to put the new links into the chain including my time to get down the stairs on foot to work on it. It was sent overnight FedX. You can't ask for more!
