The Care Taker

The Amerglide lift has been such a great help for my Mother. She has been able to get up stairs with great ease, she is 87 years old and was able figure its use out in a day. We are very pleased with Ameriglide.

Pros Makes access easier. Bringing in groceries are no longer painful to my knees. Easy to operate and reasonably priced. |
Cons The only con I can think of is that the foot rest is a little short. |
Service & Delivery The service was quick to arrive and the installer was very nice. I had a few suggestions and he quickly accommodated me. |

Pros We purchased 2 chairs for our 2 tiered stairway and they have been very well received by our older congregation. Everyone who has used them have expressed great pleasure in not having to struggle with the stairs or completely avoiding them. |

Service & Delivery were charged the full amount on the day of order but, was not shipped until nearly two weeks later. After delivery it took nearly two more weeks for the installer to send someone who had never installed a stairlift before. Fortunately, the person was experienced in other fields to figure out the steps of installation. |

Pros Very economical solution for stairway with landing. Lower unit has "flip rail" to minimize intrusion into hallway. Both lifts solved our access to upper bedroom with ease. The design and construction are excellent, high quality. |

Service & Delivery We were told that we would be advised when shipment was mad. However, the stair lifts arrived (7 big boxes) without notice. Fortunately, we were home. |
