Pros
Sturdy, Lightweight, Safe, Easy Storage
Cons
Easy to install. Installation took about two hours. The chair itself could be a little better. Seams a little cheap. The lift works very well.

I purchased the stair lift for my nephew who has Spina Bifida and is confined to a wheelchair. For most of his life, he has slept on a couch in the downstairs living room. Now he has access to an upstairs bedroom and larger bathroom that became available when his sister moved out of the house.

Service & Delivery
The product was delivered in about a week, was complete and had good installation instructions. I installed so a door at top of stairs would close. The instructions were not quite as good for that installation, but I got the job done to provide a safe and attractive installation. I needed no customer service as the product worked as advertised the first time.

We have purchased the AC powered Electric Stair Lift. We have used this product for over a month, and it works well and meets our needs.

Service & Delivery
The delivery was very prompt and it arrived in perfect condition.
The installation was very easy to follow and the ride up the stairs is smooth and quiet enough. Here's a suggestion, though, regarding the 4 mounting cap screws under the seat. The screwdriver couldn't be used on the Phillips head screws, but a wrench could. Maybe use a hex head cap screw so a wrench may be used.

My mother-in-law could only go upstairs once a day because of the steepness of her steps. Now with the Ameriglide chair she has easy access up and down all day.

If the chair goes too far at the top, it will hit a switch that will disable the chair. Very easy to correct.

Pros

Cons
Easy to install. First one ever attempted and spent just over an hour, including moving handrails, rugs, and cleanup. The chair lift is easy to use, safe, and sturdy. Only downside is that it tends to block half of the 3 foot stairwell.

We own a group home for the elderly, The Spicer Home. I'm very impressed with the service that I received, when I purchased this AmeriGlide Stair Lift. It was great. The guy who installed the stair lift did a wonderful job and was a very nice man.

Not really any.
Service & Delivery
Only issue with delivery was we did not receive the correct mounting brackets to properly raise the track at the top to clear the door. This was handled promptly, but still not the right lengths. I ended up putting wood spacers to raise the short ones and it came out looking good.
Installed at my dad's for his use. Works well. Ended up mounting the chair up/down switch to arm rest. Magnet holder is not the best. The stairwell there is very narrow. When riding, the handrail is between your legs. I modified the handrail so it hinged up so dad could turn and get in position easier. This installation is for a narrow basement stairwell with a door close at the top.
