The Universal Outside Lift 350 XL is designed to lift larger electric wheelchairs and scooters. It will even support scooters that have a 48 inch wheelbase. Easy to use retractors lock the wheelchair or scooter in place and from there, the Universal Outside Lift will do the rest.

Due to its size, the Universal Outside Lift 350 XL will only work with a Class III hitch. An available Swing Away Arm can be added as an option. This will allow you to access your tailgate or trunk without having to remove the scooter lift.

  • Lifting Capacity: 350 lbs

  • Max Scooter Wheelbase: 48"
  • Installed Weight: 124 lbs

A Little About Myself disabled
Pros VERY STRONG AND DURABLE, Safe, Sturdy, Easy Storage, IT EASY TO USE, MAKES TRANSPORTING EASY, Lightweight
Cons
I USE IT TO TRANSPORT MY POWER CHAIR, AND IT DOES THE JOB QUITE WELL. IT IS QUITE WELL CONSTRUCTED AND THE ONLY RECOMMENDATION IS THAT THE LICENCE PLATE BE PLACED 24 INCHES HIGHER ABOVE THE CONTROL UNIT SO THAT THE LICENSE PLATE CAN BE SEEN EASIER BY POLICE SO ONE CAN NOT GET A MOVING VIOLATION THE PLACEMENT IS JUST NOT HIGH ENOUGH TO BE EASILY SEEN. THE UNIT WORKS QUITE WELL. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT IT AT ALL. IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE SOME KIND OF LOCKING DEVICE TO LOCK THE POWER CHAIR OR SCOOTER FROM BEING POSSIBLY STOLEN. SOME WAY TO BE ABLE TO LOCK IT IN PLACE

Pros Sturdy, Easy Storage, Lightweight, Safe
Cons
I have terminal lung cancer and cannot walk long distances. I have to have my chair to get around and the lift makes that possible.

A Little About Myself Elderly, Caregiver
Pros Safe, Sturdy, Easy Storage
Cons
My only worry about the lift is the partial obstruction of the license plate. Even though there are holes in the lift, when in the folded up position, it's still hard to read the license plate through it. I hope I don't get a ticket for obstructed plate. (If I do, will Ameriglide pay it?)
