Wheelchair and scooter lifts on this page are all manually operated. Manually operated lifts do not have motors and do not need to be connected to your car's battery. This makes installing the lifts easier. Although manually operated lifts do not have motors, they are not difficult to use. They all use pivoting platforms which require only a small amount of force to lift even the largest power chairs and scooters. And because they don't have motors they are very economically priced.
