All the wheelchair or scooter lifts on this page can be attached to "Class I Hitches". This means that if your vehicle has a Class I hitch then you can use any of these lifts. If you are unsure of what class of hitch your vehicle has, please consult your vehicle's manual or give us a call. We'd be more than happy to help.
Wheelchair or Scooter Lift Weight Limits for a Class I Hitch
Please remember that Class I hitches cannot carry more than 200 lbs. So the weight of your chair or scooter plus the weight of the lift itself must be less than 200 lbs. When ordering, we will ask what type of chair or scooter you are using so we can confirm that you will have no problems using the lift with your vehicle.
Difference between Internal and External Chair or Scooter Lifts
Most of the lifts on this page are "External Lifts". External lifts carry your chair or scooter on the outside of your vehicle. However, we also have a limited selection of lifts which attach to Class I hitches but are "Internal Lifts", meaning that your chair or scooter will be stored inside your vehicle although the lift is on the outside.
