Your Safety Is Our Goal. This stair lift is one of the safest on the market today; we meet all ASME A18.1 safety standards. We build safety sensors into the footrest, include a locking mechanism in the seat belt, and give the motor instant reversing capability. We build automatic limits at each end of the aluminum track, which can run up to 20' in length. Also, standard mechanical and electrical slack cable safety devices and a failsafe mechanism that prevents operation until the seat is in the correct position work to ensure you're always protected. We also include call stations for both top and bottom landings, which can be mounted to the wall or to the floor.
