Pros
This tub is not too heavy. The stainless steel support bars on the bottom of the tub help make the tub very strong. The motor for the jet's are in a great location. It's very powerful, but very quiet. The end panels make it very easy to close up that 6" gap you may have from taking out an existing tub.

Cons
I don't like the drain assembly. The overflow knob in relations to the "T" for the tub waste are not directly vertically aligned with each other. The steal bar had to be notched out in order to glue the drain assembly. I would also prefer a tub drain that screwed into the tub's shoe and not one that you had to tightened with a regular screw driver.

Service & Delivery
They told my customer between 2-4. We had to go and meet the driver 35 miles outside of the job site. We didn't get the tub until 5:30 P.M. and we didn't get it back to the customers house until 6:30 P.M. I was very upset about the delivery time.

I would recommend this tub to any customer. I've purchased about 4 tubs and I haven't had an issue with one yet. (Knock on wood) I really like the one piece faucet. It's very simple to install. Always make sure you install an access panel for your faucet. The panel that comes on the tub has a small opening making it harder to change the faucet if need be.

This Medi-Tub will be used to bath a semi-quadriplegic MS family member. It is installed in a room specifically modified for her care. The design and fabrication of the Medi-Tub are excellent. The different configurations and sizes available for this model allowed us to get exactly what we needed. The friendly assistance of Mr. Frank Harrison made it a pleasant purchase. Installation was a custom fit and presented no significant problems. Versatility of water valve, spigot, and shower placement was a nice feature and instructions for same were complete. Hardware is high quality. There were no instructions available for the double drain configuration but we got'er done. Nice job Ameriglide, and thank you again for your help. - Harrison.
