My brothers and I purchased for my father. He was having a hard time getting out of his chair. This was 1/3 the price of Lazy Boy lift chairs and the quality was amazing. It was simple to put together - pretty much just connecting the controller and putting the back of the chair on. Extremely comfortable and easy to use.

OMG! Fourteen of us went in on the purchase of the liftchair for our uncle, great uncle and great, great uncle's 106th B-day in January. . . .and he loves it! He said the only problem is that he is so-o-o comfortable and he doesn't stay awake for the end of his movies. When he finally wakes up out of his chair, it's time to go to bed !!
