Standard AmeriGlide Bath Lifts are smaller units than Premium Bath Lifts but still have the "heavier than it looks" feel. This feel is the most significant sign of the bath lift's high quality construction. It's a two piece bathtub lift, and all you have to do to start using it is place it in your tub and connect the controller.
With bath lifts, you can easily care for a family member in your home. Or, you can continue your privacy and independence without needing to ask for assistance. Enjoy the added safety with a bathtub lift from AmeriGlide.
The AmeriGlide bath lift gives a choice of three final recline positions 10°, 35°, and 45°. These positions are easily changable when fitting the back rest to the seat base. The position is set each time the back is fitted allowing the recline position to suit different users.
AmeriGlide customers appreciate not only the bathtub lift's easy-to-use features, but also the freedom it gives them. For individuals who were once unable to step into the bathtub for fear of slipping and falling, an AmeriGlide bath lift makes it possible to once again enjoy the luxury of a warm bath.

| A Little About Myself |
Son of the person that needed the lift
|
| Pros |
Simple and adjustable to needs
|
| Cons |
A trial period before you spend $500.00 would be helpful. Lot of money if it will not work for the users needs.

fine

The side flaps need to be a bit wider to rest fermly on the sides of the average tub. Then getting on and off the seat the base rocks a little as expected and the wing plates come very close to falling off the edge of tub. It would not effect the lift seat at all if wings were wider as they fold up the sides as you go down anyway. Or if the wall side wing was adjustable to go against the wall side of tub so seat did not move so much when getting in and out. Wider side plates would prevent some of the side to side motion that makes user feel a bit unstable during entry and exit.

I would be lost without my bathtub lift chair. The name of the disability game is, "When you encounter a problem, try to circumvent it or solve it." The bathtub lift chair came to my rescue when I needed it most.

|
| Pros |
The AmeriGlide Bathlift does exactly what it claims to do. It lifts one easily in and out of the tub. The controls are easy to use. Directions are use easy to understand. |
| Cons |
Erect and hard seat is uncomfortable. Most people do not sit at a 90 degree angle.
|
| Service & Delivery |
Delivery was fine. Service was good except for lack of an upgrade policy. Service should include some type of in person review since this is such an expensive item.
|
|
Unable to see unit in person resulted in disappointment. Unused, newly delivered unit was not able to be returned for an upgrade. Would have gladly paid the extra money for the reclining chair, but was not permitted to do so. Was told to donate the $500 purchase or sell it and then buy the upgrade.
