My son and I installed it Saturday in about 4 hours with him doing the "grunt" work while I enjoyed my coffee and read the instructions. We were frankly surprised and very pleased to have received such a well-engineered, high quality product. It is, perhaps, a sad commentary on the times but we have come to expect less and usually get what we expect. I just have to tell you how much I love our AmeriGlide dumbwaiter! Our home has multilevels and to get the groceries to the kitchen from the garage, I have had to carry everything up a big flight of stairs for almost 20 years. Well, needless to say, my back gave out. My husband ordered the dumbwaiter in May, 2008 and it was installed by my husband, a retired contractor, soon after. Everything was made exactly to specs, and fit our preconstructed shaft perfectly. The materials used for the dumbwaiter are of very high quality, and is the most trouble free and safety conscience dumbwaiter on the market. You have to be commended for your preciseness in taking our order, following through with the specs changes, and shipping. I have so many good things to say about this product and will definitely recommend your company to my friends.
