We install these units and the base limit switches are always a problem, because the screws come loose.

Good function, easy to install. Be sure you research all the options. I was not aware the keyed switch was an option. (shows up on the elevations and not listed on the option list on AmeriGlide's order page.) Sales people very helpful.

| Service & Delivery |
Delivery was prompt and in perfect condition. Some screws were missing but they were sent out promptly after a phonecall. Easy to install ourselves. Only concern is how it will be after a New England winter - will know next summer.

My father has Parkinsons and this was the best product we could have purchased. We had considered a ramp but this was less expensive, blends in with the outside of the house, and perfect for my Dad. It gives him the ease of being mobile with a walker and the future if a wheelchair is needed. Only concern is how this will fend being out in a New England winter.

I placed the lift in my mothers garage after she had fell down the steps and broke her leg. It is inside and still leaves plenty of room for her car so we can drive the car in and get her out in the garage. My mother is 75 years-old and has no problem getting onto the lift and then up and into the house by herself with a standard wheel chair.

My parents home was ideal for a wheelchair inside, but the entrance is over four feet off the ground. This lift enabled us to bring my father home and have a safe entrance and exit from the house. We would have had to have built a fifty-foot wheelchair ramp in a very tight space. This lift was the solution and the cost was almost the same.
I would recommend Ameriglide to anyone who has this need.
