- 350-pound weight capacity
- Motor and gears tested for 30,000 cycles (16 years)
- 24 volt Class 2 grounded controls throughout
Comfortable and Easy to Use. With a movable footrest and a deluxe backrest and seat with thicker padding, this stairlift offers unmatched comfort. The 180-degree swivel seat lets you get on and off effortlessly at top and bottom landings. Once you're seated, just push the control button and let the high-tech nylon wheels provide a smooth ride—every time.
Built for Safety. Every detail of our electric powered stairlift is designed with your safety in mind. We build safety sensors into the footrest, include a locking mechanism in the seat belt, and give the motor instant reversing capability. With automatic limits at each end of the track, standard mechanical and electrical slack cable safety devices, and a failsafe mechanism that prevents operation until the seat is in the correct position, this stairlift is one of the safest on the market today. It is ETL listed and meets ASME A17.1 and A18 safety standards for public and private use. We also include call stations for both top and bottom landings, which can be mounted to the wall or to the floor. Read more about AmeriGlide stair lift safety standards.
Easy "Homeowner" Installation. Unbelievably, the AmeriGlide Rubex electric powered stairlift simply plugs into the nearest outlet. No special wiring is needed! You can install it on either the right-hand or left-hand side of your staircase; you can even switch it from side to side without any additional parts.
Sleek Design Compliments Any Decor. The AmeriGlide Rubex electric powered stairlift is available in an attractive almond finish with your choice of vinyl seat color. When not in use, you can easily fold up the padded seat and flip up the footrest and your stairlift only takes up 14 inches of space. It's so compact, other people in your household always have full use of the stairs.

Easy to install. Installation took about two hours. The chair itself could be a little better. Seams a little cheap. The lift works very well.

The product was delivered in about a week, was complete and had good installation instructions. I installed so a door at top of stairs would close. The instructions were not quite as good for that installation, but I got the job done to provide a safe and attractive installation. I needed no customer service as the product worked as advertised the first time.

We have purchased the AC powered Electric Stair Lift. We have used this product for over a month, and it works well and meets our needs. |

The installation was very easy to follow and the ride up the stairs is smooth and quiet enough. Here's a suggestion, though, regarding the 4 mounting cap screws under the seat. The screwdriver couldn't be used on the Phillips head screws, but a wrench could. Maybe use a hex head cap screw so a wrench may be used.

My mother-in-law could only go upstairs once a day because of the steepness of her steps. Now with the Ameriglide chair she has easy access up and down all day.

If the chair goes too far at the top, it will hit a switch that will disable the chair. Very easy to correct.

Easy to install. First one ever attempted and spent just over an hour, including moving handrails, rugs, and cleanup. The chair lift is easy to use, safe, and sturdy. Only downside is that it tends to block half of the 3 foot stairwell.
