Built for Safety. Every detail of our electric powered stairlift is designed with your safety in mind. We build safety sensors into the footrest, include a locking mechanism in the seat belt, and give the motor instant reversing capability. With automatic limits at each end of the track, standard mechanical and electrical slack cable safety devices, and a failsafe mechanism that prevents operation until the seat is in the correct position, this stairlift is one of the safest on the market today. It is ETL listed and meets ASME A17.1 and A18 safety standards for public and private use. As i said earlier, I am 73 and my wife is 69. I weigh 270 lbs. and my wife weighs 255 lbs. We installed the lift chair from the first floor to the basement where our entertainment center is. It was hard for me to get up and down the steps, and my wife could not navigate the stairs at all. We have had our stair lift for over 7 months now and it has worked flawlessly. We use it daily. The installation went flawlessly and within about 1 1/2 hrs it was up and running. My Dad, now 89 cannot climb the stairs. Ordered the stair lift from my home in Ca. for my 92 year-old mother in Pa. Delivery was only four days. I'm 67 and I installed it in 2 1/2 hours with two short breaks. My sister and I went into a medical supply store in Pa. and saw a stair lift in the store and it did not look as good and strong as our AmeriGlide and was over $3600.00 installed. This stairlift has enabled my husband to sleep in his own bed after being hospitalized for 3 months. That has helped us both get a good night's sleep. It even gives me a better outlook knowing we will not have to give up our two story house as we age. The only issue we had was the chair going too high on the track and then have to crank it down an inch or so. Other than that, there is nothing but positive feedback!

There are some Positives and negatives on buying your this stair lift. Because of many miscommunications, I had to install the unit myself. Using one day vacation in the process. On the other side , the unit was very easy to install(it only took 4 hrs.) and it worked fine. My mother-in-law loves it. I told a friend about it and he ordered one (MR. Dillard.) immediately. I also installed it for him. So far he is very pleased. I will keep passing the word. It's an easy install and a nice way to make extra money. Thank you for everything. - Dan
