The AmeriGlide Wheelchair Stair Climber allows you to ensure the safe transport of a person in a standard manual wheelchair up or down stairs. Now you can provide easier access to your commercial or public building where you do not currently have installed or cannot install a permanent lift. The Stair Climber provides multiple trips up and down stairs on a single charge by using a long-lasting battery. In the event that it is exhausted, a safe descent is ensured by the manual emergency device. Keyed controls enable the restriction of the Stair Climber's use to your trained and authorized operators, and the unit can be split into two pieces to facilitate transport between locations.
